Well it's 8:00am and I'm finishing up pulling all my stuff together. Thought it was time for a quick update. This whole weekend is Single Speed Worlds up in State College, PA. Who knows when the Worlds will be back in the US, much less the east coast. If you can spare a weekend, this is the place to be!

I'll be riding up with Super Steve and Big Time Butch, then I think we're hitting Otto's Brewpub, from there who knows. If you see me, introduce yourself (red/orange IF and probably wearing a City Bikes jersey), and if your riding fixie, rock on. I'm hoping there will be a slightly larger fixie contingent this year. We'll see. This could easily turn into the last weekend bachelor party thing as it's my last weekend as an unmarried man. Bikes, beer, and a thousand dirty bikers, doesn't get much better than this.

Cross Adventure  
It's been awhile since I posted, but it's been about that long since I've been on a bike. I rode twice on Friday, once on the mountain bike at Riverbend and once on the cross bike within blocks of my house. Your all probably tired of looking at my ugly mugg below so I'll give you some photos from the day...

It started off with some nice dirt singletrack that runs along Pimmit Run.



I followed the singletrack into the heart of deer country...also known as Fairfax County...



Causing me to stop and look around, if only to take in the sights.



After a little bushwacking to find the trail, it was time to head home.
